Category Archives: Village of the Damned

Something is terribly wrong with the Education ‘Village‘ of America – the complete breakdown of America’s government controlled education system through indoctrination and Socialism. Our children have become truly ‘damned‘ and will have little chance to truly succeed in this nation – UNLESS – the system can be overturned. Sorry Hillary, but the Village thing hasn’t worked so well – for the children of America. Welcome to the ‘Village‘ – where first we learn, and then we teach!

This category was so-named because of then First Lady, Hillary Clinton’s comment, “It takes a village to raise a child.” In addition to my feelings that our children are truly ‘damned‘ as long as this system is allowed to continue.

The ‘Village‘ is the place that I would not wish to be in today. I was privileged to participate in one of the last non-socialist school systems. Hell – I don’t know – maybe it had already begun, but I had great teachers. At 71 years of age – I can still picture and name over 90% of those whose care I was placed into. What we present here includes a range of commentary by a wide range of authors, which may well not fit into other designated categories. So here we provide, well – you know – “a little of this and a little of that!“

As the esteemed Dr. Rosemary Stein, M.D. has stated; The only way socialism has any chance in America is for the education system to push it in schools. Remember, the father of their modern education ‘Elite’ beliefs is John Dewey. Dewey was a communist, failed teacher who pushed what are now clearly failed education theories. Here is the quote of the day. “This militant crowd is comprised of uninformed and misinformed people looking at themselves as unfortunate, underpaid, underappreciated victims of capitalism, overwhelmed with jealousy that there are people who are everything they are not.”You are going to have to take ownership over the education of your children ~ Rosemary Stein, MD

In the words of Jaime Escalalante ~ “I tell my students, you do not enter the future – you create the future. The future is achieved through hard work.”

Let us guide our children towards creation – of the future. The time is past due for we the people to take back the responsibility of who raises and who teaches OUR children.. and with YOUR help, and the words of our contributors, we will do our best to bring your children to the world which they deserve to live in. ~ Jeffrey Bennett, Kettle Moraine Publications

School Board Tyranny ~ Part 3

I believe the icing on the cake is the Biden administration’s weaponizing his DOJ to attack parents with the threat of ‘domestic terrorism’ charges if they continue to oppose the tactics of school boards to indoctrinate our kids into the homosexual lifestyle and the critical race theory. The debate between Attorney General Garland and Senatore Tom Cotton,[1] Senator Ted Cruz,[2] and Senator Josh Hawly[3] should have every American scratching their heads as to the character of Garland. They are also thanking God that he didn’t make it to the Supreme Court. He is as uninformed as Biden is. He didn’t know about the letter his department-issued. Was not aware of any violence by the parents towards the school boards, ignored the actual physical violence by the school boards security against the parents. Continue reading

Anghis: School Board Tyranny – Part 2

One of the most amazing things that some school boards are doing is allowing graphic homosexual books in the library that kids can check out. These books have illustrations of homosexual acts and even talk about gang rape. One school took it up a notch and took elementary school children to a gay bar! Public schools attempting to indoctrinate children with woke ideologies have been a problem for years. But Broward County, Florida, is reportedly taking things to a whole new level of crudity.

On Wednesday, Broward County school board member Sarah Leonardi tweeted pictures of a field trip she took Wilton Manors Elementary students on. The problem was the destination of the field trip was a gay bar.

“I was SO honored to be invited to chaperone @WiltonManorsES’s field trip to the incredible Rosie’s!” she wrote. “The students and I had a fun walk over and learned a lot about our community!”

In one picture, young students in masks can be seen outside the bar with three adults. Another image shows the young children sitting at tables inside the gay bar. Continue reading

Kids at School Are Asked to Give Details of Their “Sex Lives

A new county youth survey in Fairfax County, Virginia, will ask kids as young as 12 years old whether they have ever had sex, how old they were at the time, and how many persons they have had sexual intercourse with.

According to WJLA, the 2021 Fairfax County Youth Survey will be a cooperation between Fairfax County Government and Fairfax County Public Schools. It will survey students in the eighth, tenth, and twelfth grades. The survey is voluntary and anonymous. Continue reading

Anghis: School Board Tyranny – Part 1

We are seeing something in America that we have never seen on such a scale before. Our leftist so-called ‘educators have taken a page out of Lenin’s playbook and decided that it is only the school board that has the right to decide what children in public schools are taught and that parents have no right to any input at all. Terry McAuliffe has even stated that parents have no right to input into what their kids are taught. In the Virginia gubernatorial debate on Tuesday evening, Democratic candidate Terry McAuliffe insisted that parents should have no role in directing the education of their children and doubled down in a subsequent media interview. White Males Are Bailing on College
This exclusive interview with the collective that runs the Doomberg Substack explains why they think oil could hit $300 and uranium could “double or triple”And why wouldn’t they? They are Public Enemy Number One on most campuses.

In the future, a young man might come home from the factory, grab a beer, and watch the classic frat house comedy “Animal House,” wondering to himself, “I thought college was just for women.”

That’s an exaggeration, but the numbers don’t lie: Fewer men are attending colleges and universities, pushing aside opportunities to stroll across the campus green in favor of trade schools or good old-fashioned work… (Continue to full article)

Grading Is Racist “White Language Supremacy” Says Arizona State Professor
Arizona State Professor Asao B. Inoue coined the term HOWL “Habits of White Language” and proposes a new model to grade students’ work.

White language supremacy in writing classrooms is due to the uneven and diverse linguistic legacies that everyone inherits, and the racialized white discourses that are used as standards, which give privilege to those students who embody those habits of white language already… (Continue to full article)

Against Masking Our Children: My Experience with a Local School Board
Masking in general is an abomination, but masking schoolchildren is particularly egregious. Given the ideologic challenges at the federal and, often, state level, it is at the local level where we may be most successful at exerting influence regarding COVID policies.

It is through such grassroots activism that we may preserve our rapidly deteriorating nation or, at least, create safe zones or “sanctuaries.” In the wake of the turmoil surrounding the Loudoun County (Virginia) school board and elsewhere, I, thus, share my experience with my local school board on the matter of masks… (Continue to full article)

Black dad says CRT is ‘fanning the flames of what little embers are left’ of racism in US and gets Colorado school board to ban it
A Colorado Springs school district banned critical race theory after a black father claimed racism in America would ‘by and large be dead’ if not for institutions and schools ‘keeping it on life support.’

‘I am a direct descendant of the North American slave trade. Both my parents are black. All four of my grandparents are black, all eight of my great grandparents, and all 16 of my great greats. On my mother’s side, my ancestors were enslaved in Alabama. On my father’s side, we were enslaved in Texas.’

‘I’m not oppressed and I’m not a victim,’… (Continue to full article)

Public Education: Factories Producing Compliant Global Village Idiots

As innocent children come into the world, their minds are a clean slate, ready to listen, absorb and learn. They trust and follow those that have been assigned the task of leading them to knowledge. For decades, that same innocent trust has been accepted by the parents to feel confident that the American education system is designed to teach basic academic knowledge to their children, while it’s up to the parents to provide love, family values, and moral integrity. What Role Do Parents Play in Education?

The Left is increasingly fighting parents who don’t want their children indoctrinated.

Dear parents: Thank you for sending your child to school. Now stay out of their education. It’s none of your business.

This sums up the attitude of many school boards these days. They don’t want any disagreement about the radical agenda they’re pushing on students across America.

This isn’t a new problem. Leftists have used education to burrow into the center of our culture and rot it from within for many decades. But now they’re openly admitting what they’re doing and telling the rest of us to stay out of the discussion. Continue reading

1619 Project Author Says the Quiet Part Out Loud

Nikole Hannah-Jones admits her work is merely a narrative and a tool for political activism.

The danger in people “speaking their truth” is that the motives are typically to exploit victimhood for power. This is absolutely the case with Nikole Hannah-Jones’s 1619 Project. She admitted as much in her acceptance address for the Freedom of Speech Award given by the Roosevelt Institute.

Hannah-Jones admitted what she’s doing is activist journalism and the 1619 Project is “the narrative [that] allows for policy.” Continue reading

CALIFORNIA: Shocking Grade School Mandates Send Parents Over The Edge

The time is long past due to get caught up with that which I have been ignoring. ~ Editor

Parents in disagreement with California’s first-in-the-nation COVID-19 vaccine mandate for elementary students staged a protest on Monday at the state Capitol.

At this time the vaccine has only been approved for children aged 16 and older. (This has been updated since the original publication of this column. ~ Ed.) Continue reading

Structural Racism? Try Public Schools

Persisting in collectivist education practices is systemic racism at its core.

Public schools have long been in a downward spiral when it comes to giving all students a good education. There are many reasons for this: lack of parental involvement, poor and dishonest teachers, and misuse of standardized tests. Perhaps the biggest indicator of this plummet is the poor performance of black children. Continue reading

The ADHD Overdiagnosis Epidemic Is a Schooling Problem, Not a Child One

Today, children are being diagnosed with, and often medicated for, ADHD at an astonishing rate.

Childhood exuberance is now a liability. Behaviors that were once accepted as normal, even if mildly irritating to adults, are increasingly viewed as unacceptable and cause for medical intervention. High energy, lack of impulse control, inability to sit still and listen, lack of organizational skills, fidgeting, talking incessantly—these typical childhood qualities were widely tolerated until relatively recently. Today, children with these characteristics are being diagnosed with, and often medicated for, Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) at an astonishing rate. Reforming Education: Chasing the Wrong Rabbit

Schools closed. Children abandoned. Parents told to pound sand.

Is a repeat defeat for students and parents in the works for this coming school year?

It seems so. What’s not in doubt is it will be another big win for teacher unions. The Los Angeles union demanded a rich array of gimmes before it would consider any return to classrooms, reports Lee Chanian for the Hoover Institution. These included defunding police, shutting down competing charter schools, a 1% wealth tax, and a 3% income surtax on successful people, to name but a few. Is this dedication? For sure. But not to students. Continue reading

Tiffany ROCKS: A Teacher who gets it!

I have worked in the public indoctrination (school) system since 2011. Yesterday, I took a stand for humanity and our beautiful children. These kids are being coerced into a future where they have no rights, brainwashed into not questioning authority, using their intuition or critical thinking skills. They are being muzzled and separated from their friends and taught to define and judge others based on the color of their skin. I refuse to be a part of any of this abhorrent agenda.

I walked in on the first day sans mask. I take my job as a positive role model to children seriously and I will not be an example of a sheep. Miss Tiffany doesn’t muzzle her face and neither should you! I was asked to exit my classroom and put on leave without pay. I implore everyone follow suit! We are so powerful as a collective and we can shift this evil paradigm into the beautiful manifestation that we know is possible! Stand strong in your truth and integrity. God has beautiful plans for us on the other side of fear.

Parents Increasingly Fight for Control

Bad policies from school boards have had at least one unintended good effect.

Lately, parents have become more active in the debate around what and how their children should be taught in public schools. Parents are weighing in on curriculum about “systemic racism,” policies about vaccinating children without parental consent, and the front-and-center debate of whether a child needs to wear a mask for the school day. The Left may be pushing wrong policies, but more parental involvement is a good thing.

The political Left teaches that America is racist because it was founded through oppression, prejudice, and white privilege. Kids are being taught how to affix blame using racism, not how to prevent it. Whether it’s called Critical Race Theory (CRT) or some other clever name used to camouflage activism, this indoctrination has been exposed, causing many states to ban the passing on of this mindset. Oregon Quietly Passes Bill Removing Reading and Math Requirements for Graduation

Oregon Governor Brown

From the story: Brown, a Democrat, did not hold a public signing or issue a press release regarding the passing of Senate Bill 744 on July 14, and the measure, which was approved by lawmakers in June, was not added into the state’s legislative database until more than two weeks later on July 29, an unusually quiet approach to enacting legislation. (Washington Examiner).

Shockingly, the governor’s spokesperson insulted minorities, saying they are the reason for the lack of standards. From Jazz Shaw: As to the delay in updating the database, there was at least an answer provided to the media.

Virginia County School Board Votes Against Implementing State’s Required Transgender Policies

A Virginia county school board elected not to enact transgender policies mandated by the state that looked to “address common issues regarding transgender students.”

The Augusta County School Board called a special meeting Thursday to vote on whether it would change its policies in order to reflect transgender policies required by the Virginia Department of Education. The DOE’s policies state how educators should refer to and accommodate transgender students. Continue reading

A High School Diploma… For NOTHING!

Would you want to hire someone who couldn’t read, couldn’t write, and couldn’t do math? If so, Oregon’s public high schools will soon have graduates who fill the bill!

Late last month the Oregon legislature and governor passed a law that, in its own words, “prohibits the State Board of Education from requiring for a high school diploma that student show proficiency in any academic content area if student successfully completed credit requirements”.

In other words, as long as the student actually showed up for class and sat there at his desk all year, he doesn’t have to have learned anything to get a diploma. Continue reading
