Welcome, and… an Introduction from the Editor

“Train up a child in the way he should go and when he is old, he will not depart from it.” ~ Proverbs: 22:16

There are days in Life – that I don’t know where to begin, but let’s give it a try…

To begin… There are two “Pages” that I invite EVERYONE to read – whether you have been a continual reader of our work or not – for it shall explain much about the purpose of the Metropolis Café site, it’s history and the true meaning for its existence; Le Metropolis Café, where our opening line states, “The process of re-educating our children begins HERE!” and Metropolis ~ the Story.

If you are a first time visitor – WELCOME to Metropolis.Café. For those who have not been with us for some time – Welcome back… and I am getting back to work – well – I have never quit – but an intense expansion project is in the works for our highly specialized Category, Words and Deeds.

A very large part of the posts within the eight chapters of ‘Words and Deeds‘ were published in the first generation Federal Observer web-site, which I founded and established in July of 2001 – seven weeks before the destruction of September 11, 2001 – and I have been fighting against so many other attacks in this nation ever since – including the devastation and destruction of the American education system – a system which would rather ignore where America began and what it became.

Over the past week, I have begun to diligently work on Words and Deeds with several new additions including, a lecture from December 26, 1954 by J. Robert Oppenheimer, the noted American physicist, and the text of a speech by one of our Nation’s founders, James Madison and several more – it was a busy day and night. There will be much more coming – but maybe not more than one or two per week – after all – there is far more to bring to our readers, teachers and MOST importantly – our Students – but after all – OUR History – IS our history!

I believe that in order to understand this nation’s current conundrum and how we got there, we must first understand our history – something no longer discussed or taught in our government-controlled indoctrination centers, known as “schools.”

Let THIS be your familys’ “school.”

And so we come to “Words & Deeds” ~ what we hope to be an important segment of Kettle Moraine Publications – addressing the history of this experiment, which we call ‘America’ – a project, which began in the spring of 2001, and ultimately became one of the most internationally successful series of posts of the first generation Federal Observer web site beginning in October 2001. Herein will be presented the words, letters, speeches, papers and much more from it’s earliest days – and beyond that made America what she was to become – before the fall.

These are among my goals for what time I have left here on God’s good earth – and to leave my grandchildren – and all the children of the earth – a history of this grand experiment known as America, with both its successes and failures.

I’ll see you at Sundown,
