Public School Teachers Instructed to Promote Islam

Over four hundred teachers underwent mandatory training in Michigan recently that exalted Islam but denigrated Christianity, America, and of course, white males. The training leads people to believe Islam is the peaceful, one true religion while Christianity is a man-made, false religion.

Richard Thompson, president of the Thomas More Law Center (TMLC) described it as a well-orchestrated Islamic propaganda campaign and said:

“We found that the teachers were subjected to two days of Islamic propaganda, where Islam was glorified, Christianity disparaged, and America bashed…”

But that’s not all!

There’s another lawsuit, this time in Maryland, where high-school students were required to profess the Shahada, the Islamic conversion creed, ‘There is no god but Allah, and Muhammad is the messenger of Allah.’ The school did not allow a Christian student, Caleigh Wood, to opt out, and failed her for refusing to submit. It’s interesting that Islam is translated as “submission.”

I agree with TMLC’s Richard Thompson that across the U.S. special treatment is being given to the Muslim faith. Government schools do so under the guise of diversity, inclusion, multiculturalism, or while teaching history and social studies. Would this ever be tolerated if it were Christianity or any other religion? Nope.

In the training, Christian scriptures are described as being “corrupted” while the holy book of Islam, the Quran was said to contain the “pure” word of God. According to the report, of hundreds of teachers attending the workshop, not one teacher challenged the fabrications about Islam, the disrespect toward Christianity or attacks on America.

These cases make me wonder what our great grandparents or founding fathers would say.

Imagine today’s students in an American school being taught God’s Moral Laws or that Jesus Christ is the Truth and the only way to eternal life. Instead of the Shahada, imagine public schools requiring kids to profess, for example, Romans 10:9-10:

“[I]f you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved; for with the heart a person believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation.
But the Bible has long been banned and Jesus was rejected by the U.S. Dept. of Education.

A Freedom of Information Act request filed by the Thomas More Law Center revealed some alarming information about the two-day teacher training session on Islam. This campaign has been presented in at least nine separate school districts in Michigan, as well as colleges and professional organizations in states including California, Texas, Georgia, and Florida.

Schools that have already had teachings on Islam including its Five Pillars include New Jersey, Virginia, Washington, Georgia, Minnesota, Tennessee, Oregon, and South Carolina.

Who was the expert hired to train teachers? Huda Essa of Culture Links LLC, who describes herself as an advocate of social justice and encourages children to “take pride in their many identities.” She also claimed that white males are more dangerous than Islamic radicals.

Essa provided no truthful information on Sharia law, jihad, or the harsh treatment of women. All references to terrorism were dismissed as having nothing to do with Islam. She compared Christianity to Islam suggesting they are mostly similar. “The one big difference, she claims, is that Islam is the world’s “only purely monotheistic religion.”

This regardless of the fact Christians believe in one God, consisting of three distinct persons who nevertheless remain one indivisible God. The Father, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit are not three separate Gods with different natures or conflicting agendas. The Great I AM is Creator, Redeemer, Savior, Author of life, Judge of mankind, Sustainer, and Sovereign King who reigns forever.

But according to Essa, the Bible is inferior. But she did not address the fact that the Quran calls for the extermination of Christian and Jews.

In a special investigative report on “Taxpayer-funded Islamic Propaganda Forced on Teachers,” the Thomas More Law Center points out Huda Essa accused America of “cultural genocide.” However,

“Essa was silent on the 1400 years of actual genocides, also known as jihads, in which Muslims wiped out Jewish tribes on the Arabian Peninsula, and slaughtered millions of Christians throughout the Middle East, North Africa and the European Continent.
Novi’s Islamic teacher-training is just the latest example of professional Islamic indoctrinators infiltrating U.S. public schools even as Christianity has been forced out of the classroom.

Essa claimed Islam is the world’s fastest-growing religion, but conveniently failed to mention Muslims are forbidden to leave the faith or will be subject to severe punishment or death. Forced conversions have been a well-documented fact of history.

Make no mistake; peace is not the final goal, it is submission to Islam and Sharia Law. The Middle East and North Africa were once Christian majorities, but were Islamized by a series of jihads starting with Muhammad and later by the Ottoman Turks.

Essa failed to mention that Muhammad, Islam’s prophet, is reported to have said that the majority of hell would be populated by women (hadith by Sahih Bukhari Vol. 1:28, 301, Vol. 2:161, Vol. 7:124-126). The Quran also instructs husbands to beat a disobedient wife (Sura 4:34).

Going back to the 1960s, the one true, living God was expelled from most public schools along with voluntary prayer, Bible reading, and even the Ten Commandments. This not only set the stage for the lack of discipline, unprecedented sexual activity, drugs, and violence; but many of today’s schools bending over backwards to promote Islam.

What can concerned parents and patriotic Americans do? Raise awareness about the indoctrination of teachers and students. Attend school board meetings. Point out the lack of balance – that favoring one religion over others is unconstitutional. Know what’s being taught in your children’s schools. If necessary, seek legal action.

And make sure you’re constantly teaching your children who God is and who He is not.

Have any tried unsubscribing, and then resubscribing? If it is the email addresses that are blocked, this will do nothing. But if it takes resubscribing, it might work. Another thought: maybe their email addresses are blocked, so perhaps it would work if they entered some other email address in the email field. Anyway, it should be easy for someone who is a subscriber to try these things.

My thought re religions is that it would be beneficial for children to learn the ideologies and perspectives of the different religions, instead of the false information being dripped into them: all religions are basically the same. Unless people have some information the drivel sounds reasonable. Why object? Anyway I appreciated a university course on comparative religion (Middle Eastern, it turned out – I remember Egyptian religions, Babylonian (epic of Gilgamesh, for instance). Very enlightening.

I also think it would be beneficial for them to learn capitalist vs communist ideologies and outcomes.

Of course we hit here the reality that most teachers – well indoctrinated via their own “educations” – are anti-capitalist, and also believe the “all religions are basically the same” drivel.

By the way, I appreciate what I’ve been learning about the Met Cafe.

I agree with your take on religions, however – as relates to the public school system – I only agree from a historical perspective. Beyond that, it should be up to the Parents – and their respective Churches to educate regarding the pros and cons – highlighting and inviting discussion of the similarities AND differences – which would then allow said churches to educate as to HOW their respective religion came about.

Very frustrating – to have a cafe with no conversation – in fact to have moved to a site supposedly more secure, but where there is silence!!

Re you having been too busy to respond. I can well understand that. All the best in all you’re doing.

Yes – it truly sucks. There was a time that we had over two hundred participants. Only one has been able to figure out how to get back in. It sickens me.

Those who are subscribers have somehow been blocked – not by me – but somehow in the transition last January. Many have tried and just given up. We don’t understand and the ISP just jerks me around six-ways to Sunday. Apparetnly – only new readers such as your self have been able to gain access.

We agree utterly on your final point: What is taking place in America today – is pure indoctrination.

Students are not taught that vital skill: thinking, the best way to withstand indoctrination. I have in fact written and spoken on this: THINK OR SINK. As a college prof in Canada, starting about 2004 I encountered a sea change: students would recoil in horror at the suggestion that they think, evaluate. Here I am speaking on this subject: http://elsasemporium.com/think-or-sink.html You will also find the outline of the book.

Re religion: I created the kids’ video on Islam because, though I would prefer to keep religion out of the school systems, Islam is being (mis)taught. So how to deal with this? I thought a bit of truth could be helpful. In fact, not to encourage students to engage in or disengage from any religion, I consider that it would be a major advantage to have a course on the content / core ideology of the major religions taught – just as history is taught. Instead students are fed that flat-out lie, that all religions are basically the same – so once again they are being indoctrinated in a false belief. It could be an optional course. Fine. But great to have it there.

Re sexualities. I agree that so much – climate comes to mind – is taught as if this were TRUTHS FROM GOD, rather than that it’s approached with THINKING, EVALUATING at the core. I also agree (if you agree with me on this), that there are subjects that are not suited for being taught in grade school – like a lot around sex and gender.

      Good day Elsa,

I feel remiss for not having responded to your commentaries. I can assure you that it is not intentional. I have been overwhelmed with many things as of late.

An issue which you may have noticed… At on time we had over 300 contributors participating in the daily conversation. In January of this year, a major migration to a more “secure” platform for all 5 of my sites was recommended by my provider. The two sites which had always been open for conversation and comments – lost that ability – even though all of those registered were still on the list. My provider has refused to do anything about it. Among said participants, was the great grandson of noted autjor, Charles Dickens, who happens to be a personal friend of mine.

I have a suggestion: PUT FORWARD AN ALTERNATE CURRICULUM ON ISLAM – OR EVEN, AN ALTERNATE CURRICULUM ON RELIGION (overview of the core ideology of the various major religion). For Islam, a fun, simple, easy and TRUTHFUL presentation of the 3 essential doctrines of Islam can be found in this 9-minute video for children (also very suitable for reaching adults): ISLAM – WHO, WHAT, HOW. You can find it at: http://livefreedom.net/islam-who-what-how.html. Further videos can be created for all the major religions. More important in relation to Islam, the fun video can be followed by a 5-minute video from Bill Warner showing the locations and extent of Islamic battles (this in contrast to the very few Crusade battles). You can contact me through the site if being involved in this interests you.

      Elsa,

I sincerely appreciate your input on this issue and yet, part of the problem is, the responsibility of a Public School system does not include educating the students on the plethora of respective religious beliefs. It was never addressed in my day, nor do I believe that it should be part of any Public (school) curriculum – UNLESS it is an (available) elective course. The same goes for the other “religions” – the teaching of LGBTQ, Transgender and/or “you can choose to be any ‘sex’ that you choose to be.” Sorry, but one is either ‘hanging’ or they are not (to put it bluntly) and yet what is taking place in America today – “sexual preferences” have become a ‘religion‘ of it’s own.

What is taking place in America today – is pure indoctrination.
