Centralized sovereignty is a necessary first step in controlling the people. It is the fundamental platform for tyranny. Thomas Jefferson in all his wisdom pushed America toward a decentralized States Rights doctrine. He knew that government most directly accountable to the people was at State level. That doctrine prevailed in America until 1865 when by force of bayonets it was destroyed, which is why Karl Marx wrote Lincoln a letter of applause for his denial of States Rights. Marx believed that centralized power was an essential first step in herding the people toward his communist utopia.
Since that time Americans have been vulnerable regarding subjugation to a totalitarian political party that reads between the lines of the Constitution in order to promote its own agenda. The Democrat Party uses the label of “living document” applied to our Constitution in order to make it fit a political agenda. Jefferson pointed out that when he looked between the lines of the Constitution, all he saw was blank paper. He knew the danger of surrendering the Constitution to subjectivism and relativism.
A necessary second step toward tyranny is for that political party to control the media, whether that be mainstream or social media. We now see that to be the case where the Democrat Party is served by the American media rather than scrutinized by that media. The current attempt by the American media to sweep the Biden family corruption under the rug should frighten all Americans. Unfortunately the past two generations of American’s have been indoctrinated in schools controlled by Leftists and they therefore do not have to ability to recognized that America is on the brink of electing to power a Party that has all the pieces in place to establish a centralized tyranny. What the Democrats have accomplished using virtuous sounding platitudes is nothing more than political propaganda as a means to power. The Communist Party in the former USSR used the same methods, and its media platform called “Pravda” would be proud of what the Democrats have accomplished. The Democrat Party has managed to bring America to the point of voting into power people committed to the same policies and ideology that failed so miserably in the 20th century and led to more demoncide than ever before in the history of mankind.
