It is National School Choice Week and a new poll indicates growing support for school choice options.
The American Federation for Children released the poll last week, which shows continuing strong, across-the-board support for educational options.
AFC spokesman Tommy Schultz says this year’s report shows a majority of likely voters in the November 2020 elections favor school choice.
Sixty-seven percent said they support school choice, a four-point bump from last year.

“We think that this poll, more than anything,” he tells OneNewsNow, “shows a lot of momentum, a growing momentum, for school choice.”
For decades children from low-income families have endured a terrible disadvantage over educational opportunities, according to Schultz and AFC, but that disparity is changing in recent years.
“As school choice continues to expand across the country, (as) these educational options begin to develop, thrive,” he predicts, “I think you’re going to begin to see a whole new landscape when it comes to our children’s education.”
Schultz says the poll was conducted by Beck Research, a Democratic polling firm, to eliminate any impression that the survey has a conservative bias.
