The Truth is in the Past

We have proven in the past, the vast majority of Confederate soldiers were the sons and grandsons of Revolutionary War citizen-soldiers, heroes, statesmen and patriots. They learned the Constitution at home by the ones who won it.

The truth is they knew exactly just what Lincoln and his ilk were up to and simply seceded the voluntary union of their grandfathers. The union was to be an umbrella, not a chain. Not a chain.

But there are so many things you don’t know because you’ve not been told. Telling you the truth is our mission, what you do with the truth we give you is yours.

The truth is, the South only wanted to be left alone. She caused no trouble when she left, she hurt no one and did no damage at all; she just left. It was never her intention to fight, even though liars, deceivers, and clever tricks made her look the aggressor.

The South sent 3 of her citizens to visit the newly inaugurated President of the United States in March of 1861 to assure the US government the South had no intentions of hostilities nor harm.

The South took none of her weapons from the armories, which she was entitled to take as every state contributed to the armories at the time.

The South took none of her money from the treasury which she was entitled to take as every state contributed to the treasury at the time.

She absolutely had no intention of war. Her only intention was constitutional separation from the voluntary union her grandfathers created.

The men sent to DC were Mr. A. B. Roman of Louisiana, Mr. Martin J Crawford of Georgia and Mr. John Forsyth of Alabama. These men were intelligent public servants. Roman had been governor of Louisiana, Crawford served in Congress and Forsyth had been Ambassador to Mexico in the Pierce Administration as well as the Buchanan administration.

Lincoln specifically said in his inauguration address that he would not invade except to collect taxes (ie “duties and imports”) which he was not entitled to anymore since the Southern states seceded.

The men sent a message to Seward as soon as they arrived in DC, notifying him of their presence and intentions to meet with the president. They were told a meeting would be arranged. They were kept waiting 27 days (Foyrsyth arrived March 12, 1861) no meeting was ever scheduled and they were never seen.

They did not press the issue in an attempt to give the new President time to form his administration.

But they were deceived.

What was done while the men were kept were waiting, is Lincoln and his administration were secretly plotting to bring war and make the South look as if she were the aggressor.

It was a sneaking, conniving trick and it worked well.

On March 12, the same day Forsyth arrived in DC and notified Seward, Lincoln issued an order to reinforce Ft. Pickens after the South was assured this would not be done.

In the case of Lincoln’s illegal and unconstitutional war It’s not “who fired the first shot”, it’s who started it?

They did.

Lincoln sent 4 armed warships into sovereign Southern waters, thereby breaking the armistice signed with the Buchanan administration, which was an act of war in and of itself. The Brooklyn got underway and on April 11, 1861, 4 days before Sumter, the Brooklyn stood in the harbor in the night to unload Marines to reinforce Fort Pickens.

An officer named Captain Adams refused to obey these orders and averted open war.

Most people have no idea of that fact. It has been hidden, but no more. The truth is the South will not stand one more second for lies.
